Wicked Bombshell was created to inspire women to be unforgivingly STRONG through community, fitness, and style because - you got this!
Hey there! My name is Valerie, the one-woman show behind this badass brand called Wicked Bombshell! That's right. I'm a small business owner, athlete, entrepreneur, dreamer, and crazy person.
I am a born and raised native from Puerto Rico, currently residing in Boca Raton, Florida. Never did I dream of owning a business, but...here we are. How did I even get here? Well...after dedicating so many years to the hospitality industry and reaching, what I thought would be the most significant turning point of my career, I woke up one day and decided I was done. Despite so many incredible years serving an industry I grew up in, it dawned on me how much I grew out of it.
I handed my two weeks notice without another job lined up and ventured with no direction - daunting, I know. Fast forward, I'm still a full-time employee by day (only in the education field), and in the remaining hours, I am the wicked owner of this brand.
Wicked Bombshell became an icon of how I overcame my negative body image as an athlete - by simply not giving a flying F@$&! From a time where all I ever heard was how I was losing my "femininity." "You're too big, shoulders are too broad, losing your butt, boobs are gone, etc." were just some of the unoriginal comments I would get.
It was just one of those things on repeat that caused me so much anxiety, to the point where I wouldn't even shop for clothes. I couldn't understand how choosing a path to become a better version of myself was so superficial.
It took me a few years to realize how proud I was of my body. A body that is STRONG, and I will never apologize for it.
As an athlete, I understand the importance of gym wear that is functional, high quality, and just badass. This is why I have dedicated countless hours and resources to test each product to ensure it ticks all the boxes. My mission at Wicked Bombshell is to provide high-quality fitness apparel with designs created to remind others that as women, WE RUN THIS.
Because I believe in community, a portion of our sales go to different charities I hold dear. If you have one you would like to share, let me know here - I would love to support your cause.
